“Buck” Barkley is the great-grandson of our founder, Louis H. Marrero, and the current President and CEO of the Company where he has served as President since 1981. During his 39 years as President, Marrero Land has worked tirelessly to make it’s founder’s vision a reality, and its achievements and his are legion.

He has stated, “Though we have holdings and interests elsewhere, our major focus has always been on the Westbank, the place of our birth, and we intend to continue to concentrate our efforts there.”
